Tenerife birds, January 2011

In addition to the birds below, I also saw a Spanish Sparrow (Passer hispaniolensis) but didn't get a photo. Birds NOT seen were (ironically) the Canary and the Blue Chaffinch, which is a Tenerife "national" symbol. I think you have to go up to the pine forests on Mount Teide to see those species.
